DESCRIPTION:Bring your child to the Paul S. Sarbanes - Downtown Branch f
 or our program\, Paws to Read. This program allows your child to read al
 oud to a dog for 5 - 7 minutes. A volunteer will be present during the e
 ntire session. This activity helps build reading confidence in children 
 while they are relaxing and having fun. This fun and popular program is 
 proven to lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning and it encourage
 s the love of books in an environment full of opportunities to practice 
 the full range of communications skills. Children must be 4-12 years old
 \, must be accompanied by an adult\, and not have any allergies to dogs.
  You may bring your own books or choose chapter or picture books from th
 e library to read. Permission slips\,&nbsp\;fill out and submit forms he
 re\, may be filled out the day of program. This program will be held the
