Welcome to The Hidden Little Gem Blog’s 2025 Holiday Activity Guide for families on the Eastern Shore of MD! From Salisbury to Ocean City, and across Delmarva, this is your one-stop spot for holiday lights, festive events, parades, Santa visits, and kid-friendly activities.
As a mom of three, my goal is to make it easier to say “yes” to the memory-making and a little less overwhelming to figure out what’s going on and where. Bookmark this page and check back often — I’ll be updating it throughout the season. 🎄✨

• Kids’ Entrepreneurs Market — Saturday, December 6 | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Christmas Cookie Bake-Off — Saturday, December 13 | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
• Special-Needs Evenings — Friday, December 12 | Monday, December 15 | Sunday, December 22 | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Updated: Free parking at the Park & Ride by Fresh Market and the Rehoboth Little League fields on Holland Glade Rd. Free shuttle on Saturdays. Limited handicap parking behind Tanger Outlets. NO parking at Epworth Church.
🕒 Activities & Highlights:
• Roller Skating — Outdoor rink ($5 skate rental)
• Sled Hill — Synthetic snow tubing hill
• Train Rides — Free “Schellville Express”. (Sometimes these close early so don’t wait to do the train!)
• Rentable Snow Globes — Cozy private domes for groups (limited availability)
• Tree Maze — Twinkling lights + food trucks & local brews
• Merry Christmas Lane — Kid-sized playhouses (grocery store, pet hospital, radio studio & more)
• Snow Zone — Fun snowball play area. (It gets chaotic, I put my kids in bright colors if I can and air tags are never a bad idea!)
• Shopping — 20+ artisan vendors
• Food & Drink — Food trucks, snack shacks, Glühwein lounge, the starboard bar & more available for purchase.
