soccer

Field hockey
Located at Delmar High School Field Hockey Field. Ages 5-11.
"Basic skills to help some of our youngsters get exposed to the game of field hockey! Even cooler…. We will be doing it with the help of our amazing JV/V Field Hockey team!
Beginning on August 19th and have 8 sessions during the fall. The dates are as follows: 8/19, 8/26, 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/9, 10/14.

"Shore Byrds Field Hockey is a club team that provides opportunities for girls ages 5 and up. We participate in a travel indoor season during the winter and several outdoor tournaments throughout the year. During the spring and summer we participate in the Mid-Atlantic League and different college 7v7 tournaments. Weekly Fly Ins are offered throughout the summer for youth, middle school, high school, and goal keepers! "FLL was first chartered in 1956 and played on one field behind city hall. Today FLL has 5 fields in the Fruitland Recreation Park" Starts at age 4.
Lacrosse
Located in Ocean City."The Beach Lacrosse Club is a recreational league. Their program is offered to boys and girls in grades PreK4 - 8th. Beach Lax is affiliated with the Eastern Shore Youth Lacrosse Association (ESYLA) and competitively plays against teams within the DelMar area. LEARN MORE.
"On Tuesdays and Thursdays from March through May, Wicomico County Parks and Recreation, in partnership with the Salisbury City Police Department and Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s Office will run a lacrosse skills program for 20 boys in grades 6-8.
The boys can expect to learn the basics of lacrosse and will receive mentoring from some of the county’s top high school and college lacrosse players and coaches. Additionally, this is a VTS (Values Through Sports) program so the boys can expect to learn from coaches and players values such as teamwork, perseverance, leadership, honesty, and integrity—players will come to understand how these values translate to success both on and off the field of play.
There is NO COST for the 20 players. All equipment (sticks, gloves, pads, helmets, goals, balls, etc.) have been provided by the Salisbury Police Department and Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s Office. There are only slots for 20 players.

The emphasis is on development and growth while competing in tournaments that not only challenge them but also offer opportunities for exposure to college coaches and recruiters."
