Wicomico County Recreation & Parks and the Salisbury Jaycees have partnered to host this year’s Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Gary Marshall Insurance Agency, at the Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex. This free event will take place Friday, April 15, from 10 a.m.-noon.
The Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt is for children ages 3-15 who have physical or mental disabilities and their siblings.
There will be different items available for those who have different disabilities. For example, there will be beeping eggs for people with visual impairments and egg grabbers for those who use wheelchairs.
An additional Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt age group has been added for people ages 16-25 who have physical or mental disabilities. Participants in the 16-25 age group are asked to arrive around 10:30 a.m. for an 11 a.m. egg hunt.
The Easter Bunny will be on-site, and there will also be games, face painting and Kona Ice. Please register in advance via the link below.
