Poplar Hill Mansion Festival

“Come to the award-winning Annual Poplar Hill Mansion Festival as we celebrate the Federal Period history of Salisbury! We had to take a break from the festival due to COVID, but we are back and better than ever!!! The day long festival will include War of 1812 re-enactors: Chesapeake Independent Blues, music and dancing of the Federal period, educational displays, a children’s activity tent with crafts and games, and a May Pole to celebrate May Day. There will also be a tented Market Square with vendors selling handcrafted items. It’s sure to be a fun filled day! Tours of Poplar Hill Mansion will also be available throughout the day and volunteers will be wearing period dress. This is a FREE event with parking located in the Bethesda Methodist Church parking lot on the corner of Division St. and Isabella St. in the Newtown Neighborhood.”
