“Saddle up for the Lone Star Rodeo’s 26th anniversary at the Wicomico Civic Center on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 20 and 21! Friday night is sponsored by Hetrick Farms and Saturday night is sponsored by Pohanka’s Trucks Made EZ.
Contest events include bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, cowgirls breakaway roping, team roping, cowgirls barrel racing and brahma bull riding. Special attractions include hilarious rodeo clown Greek Ellick, Jr., best dressed cowboy and cowgirl contests and the kid’s gold rush (ages 10 & under).
Doors open at 6 p.m., kid’s events begin at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $25 for VIP reserved lower level seating, $20 for general admission adult and $15 for general admission children (ages 12 & under). Fees apply.
Active and retired military receive $5 off tickets with ID. Tickets must be purchased in person or by contacting the box office directly at 410-548-4911.
